Taylor Swift este marea câștigătoare a Premiilor Grammy 2024, eveniment organizat duminică seara la Los Angeles. Artista americană a stabilit un nou record după ce a obținut a patra oară premiul pentru cel mai bun album al anului.

Datorită albumului ”Midnights”, Taylor Swift a intrat în istoria galei Premiilor Grammy.

La categoria "albumul anului" au concurat în acest an materialele discografice "World Music Radio" (Jon Batiste), "The Record" (Boygenius), "Endless Summer Vacation" (Miley Cyrus), "Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd" (Lana Del Rey), "The Age of Pleasure" (Janelle Monáe), "Guts" (Olivia Rodrigo), "Midnights" (Taylor Swift), "SOS" (SZA), potrivit Agerpres.

Pentru că a fost premiată a patra oară la categoria ”albumul anului”, Taylor Swift a stabilit un nou record în istoria premiilor Grammy. Astfel, ea i-a devansat pe Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder şi Paul Simon, care aveau câte trei victorii.

Taylor Swift câștigase deja de trei ori acest premiu Grammy cu albumele sale ”Fearless”, ”1989” și ”Folklore”.

De asemenea, ”Midnights”, cel de-al zecelea album de studio al cântăreței pop americane, a cucerit primul loc în topul Billboard în octombrie 2022. Datorită acestui disc, Taylor Swift a devenit și prima artistă care a ocupat simultan primele 10 poziții în topul celor mai populare melodii din Statele Unite.

La ediția Premiilor Grammy din 2023, artistul britanic Harry Styles a fost marele câștigător la categoria ”albumul anului”, cu materialul discografic ”Harry's House”.
